Busy!

This week has been a really busy with Junior League business. Today is Friday and finally I will be able to have dinner with my family. Saturday was an all day Project Evaluation Committee meeting at which we decided which projects and programs to recommend to the Junior League's Board of Directors for next year. Monday I had dinner with our next Spirit of Volunteerism awardee. Tuesday was our General Meeting, Wednesday I met to start looking at the budget for next year and last night I went to the AA committee to explain the PEC process.

I'm definitely looking forward to a quiet, long weekend.

New Years 2009

We've been spending this week at Deer Valley skiing. That's me on the far right, with my instructor, Rob Adams, and his wife Kaye. We've been having a great time, and yesterday I learned that my right leg is about 8mm shorter than my left. Rob added a plate to my right boot to make up for the difference and it improved my skiing an amazing amount. All the things I thought were hard are now easy . YEA!!
